I did this project my senior year. I did the line art for each card traditionally in ink, then scanned it into photoshop to color digitally. The scenes are based on stories from slavic folklore. In this story the maiden Vasilisa is sent by her wicked step-mother to obtain fire from Baba Yaga by performing a series of seemingly impossible tasks.
